The seminar “Preserving Memory: The Shoah at the Crossroads of Generations” took place at the Pontifical Gregorian University.
This seminar was initiated by the Embassy of Israel to the Holy See and the Bea Center for Judaic Studies at the Pontifical Gregorian University in partnership with Yad Vashem, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, and the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
It was held under the patronage of the Dicastery for Culture and Education, and in the context of Israel’s Presidency of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance.
This seminar was an important opportunity to strengthen international cooperation on Holocaust memory and education, focusing on how to ensure the memory of the Shoah is preserved, taught, and passed on to future generations.
